Davids Garage was recommended to me by a car parts guy, so I took my car with a/c problem to them a few months ago and recently had suspension work and new tires done. Both experiences were great concerning the quality of work, speed of work, and reasonable cost. I echo the sentiments of the other reviews.... they know what they are doing and put a sincere effort into doing right by the customer.

Through a very good friend of mine, I became acquainted with David’s Garage. Finding a great mechanic is very similar to finding a family doctor, dentist, barber, etc….so that you become very comfortable with these professionals. With regards to David you will know from your first contact that your vehicle will be serviced by David and his team in a caring, professional and cost effective manner. My very first encounter with David Solomon, Owner David’s Garage was regarding a transmission problem with my Subaru. Though David never met me, he patiently listened to my problems and concerns regarding the vehicle. We discussed a variety of repair options and at the end of several days worth of discussions, he advised me that the problems I was experiencing would be better performed by another shop with specific transmission expertise and provided me with a recommendation. At that moment, I became a fan. He lost a sale but gained a lifetime customer. Over the years that I have had David service and repair my families’ fleet of cars, he strives to find the best balance of services and repairs that meets our needs and budget.

I used to live in the area and now drive 45 minutes just to come to this garage. Great friendly people willing to help. I had a starter issue that was under recall, not only did they give me a quote but the called the manufacturer and dealership to ensure I took the best option, knowing that they are potentially giving me an option that does not net them profit. Highly recommended.

David's garage has taken great care of my Ford Ranger and are very friendly. They showed me what was wrong and cleaned up thoroughly after working. I hope they can take care of my truck as long as I have it.

These people are honest and knowledgeable. A couple of years ago I had problems with my Hummer H3. The dealership wanted to charge me $2100 to fix it. A friend recommended that I take it to David's Garage and wouldn't you know that David's Garage fixed the problem for $350 because the dealership had misdiagnosed my vehicle. They recently fixed my son's Cadillac CTS that wouldn't. They went above and beyond to make sure my son's car was fixed properly. I am so pleased with their service.

I have found my new mechanics! I moved here in June and I had a huge fear of not finding a new car shop that I could TRUST! I have been three times since I have moved two times for oil changes and once when my power steering pulley and serpentine belt took a dump and I lost power steering! They couldn't have stuck it to me - but instead they had me on the road in an hour and my wallet intact! They really are the car shop that everyone really wants to find and is happy to have ( makes you believe In the world just a little more ) Honest, knowledgeable, friendly, local, and good people! They have my loyalty !!! Definitely come here if you want a good mechanic!

I am a lucky guy. Twenty-three years ago when I started working in Barberton, I used a phone book to look up a service mechanic for my car. There were many, but my finger stopped at “David’s Garage” because my name is David and I figured this David, though a stranger as he was at the time, must be a good guy. Like I said, I am darn lucky because I have had 23 years of great service from David and his mechanics for all the automobiles I’ve had over the years. However, to offer more than a finger stopping at a name, the reasons to go to David’s Garage are because he is very experienced and insightful. So he is good at diagnosing problems and directing his mechanics to fix the right things without wasting time. I’ve had old cars and new cars to David, and sometimes the problems are difficult to find on each. I appreciate that he uses a cautious approach and tries to fix the little suspects first to avoid the big repair. And you can not find a more honest and sensitive guy to consult you on that day when it may be time to put the car “down”, it’s no longer worth repairing it any longer. I had that happen on a Cadillac once, but I know its in a better place now. I recommend David’s Garage to all my friends and they always thank me for it.
